OnePetro is an online library of technical literature with contributions from 22 publishing partners. More than 5,000 papers and articles from 57 SNAME conferences and symposia and 6 SNAME journals are already available on OnePetro!
Conference and Symposium Papers
Use the advanced search option to filter by journal or conference, date range, author name, etc.
Access to the content on OnePetro is available to the general public and its technical content can be obtained online through individual purchase or subscriptions.
SNAME members have the opportunity to view and/or download 20 complimentary SNAME items per calendar year on OnePetro.org. To access this member benefit, SNAME members must validate their One Petro account annually. Steps to validate your account on OnePetro are below.

- Visit OnePetro.org
- If you do not have an account on OnePetro, then choose register to set up an account
- Once logged in, select “My account” and then “Account details”
- Next, select the “Add membership” button under “Society memberships”
- Under the “Add other memberships” heading, select “Redeem your membership access here”
- On the next page, choose SNAME in the dropdown menu. Next, under "User Name," enter the email address on record with your SNAME membership, and enter the password associated with your SNAME.org account, and then select “Submit.” We recommend that you log out and then log back in to activate your SNAME member benefit.

If you already have access to OnePetro via a work or personal account, here are a few helpful hints:
If you already have corporate/institutional access with OnePetro through your current job, you will already have access to all SNAME content by virtue of your current subscription. However...
To ensure permanent access to your SNAME conference proceedings, always redeem your proceedings codes! If you leave your current job, you can update the email address on your OnePetro account and your access to these proceedings will remain with your account.
If you already have an individual subscription or account with OnePetro, please call or email OnePetro directly and ask if you can verify your SNAME membership via your existing account. We still recommend you redeem any proceedings codes in order to receive access to that content without it counting against your individual subscription limit.

OnePetro deposits our DOI numbers with CrossRef, and all content published on OnePetro is indexed by the following:
