T&R Bulletin 4-15: Coating Guide for Exterior Surfaces of Steel Vessels (1978)

This Guide contains suggestions and recommendations concerning procedures and precautions in applying various coatings to steel marine vessels. It includes tables of coatings currently used on shipbottom, boottop, freeboard, weather deck, and superstructure of these craft and also tables on compatibility of various primers with topcoats and new topcoats with existing topcoats. Glossary of terms used in the marine coatings industry is included.
